The final week of our community play production was sheer chaos a lead actor dropped out, costumes were late, and I had to step into an unexpected role while simultaneously managing the lighting design, which ate up every single hour of my day and night. The intense, non-negotiable schedule for the performance dress rehearsals unfortunately clashed directly with the mandatory, timed window to take my online exam for a separate university class. Realizing I could not possibly be backstage running cues and sitting for a two-hour test across town, I had to find a quick, logistical solution to ensure both the play (and my academic standing) weren't ruined by the impossible conflict.
